It is VERY IMPORTANT to follow this documentation when installing the Oracle clients. If there are any questions regarding installing the Oracle clients, submit a ticket to the Help Desk by emailing biotics@natureserve.org please contact Whitney: 703-908-1875. She is available to jump on an impromptu meeting assuming she's available. Uninstalling the Oracle clients is a huge time sink - it is much more efficient to get it right the first time than to troubleshoot, potentially uninstall, and then reinstall.
Once the Oracle client(s) have been successfully installed, Configure the connection to Biotics. Note Steps 1 & 2 of that require providing NatureServe with your IP address so you may want to do so the day before installing Oracle.
